Thank you for your interest in commissioning Jasper for custom art. Please fill out and submit this form if you would like to commission Jasper for a piece of art, created especially for you!

PLEASE read the following BEFORE completing the commission request form below. Sending a request implies that you agree with the following:

  • This is not an automatic promise of service. Jasper reserves the right to refuse a commission that they are uncomfortable with, it is out of scope, or if the client behaves inappropriately. Any requests for illegal activities or images will be denied. Aside from what is forbidden, there is a universe of wonderful subject matter and design to choose from and Jasper is excited to see what people request!

  • The commission may be canceled by the client at any time BEFORE payment. Please communicate this in a timely manner!

  • COST will be at fair pricing standards and a free estimate will be sent with initial sketches and other relevant info. The price for the commission will be proportional to the cost of time and materials. As a rule, commissions are more costly to buy than artwork that was already made.

  • DEPOSIT: A deposit of $30 will be required after the commission is confirmed in order to assure serious inquiries only. This amount will be credited toward the final bill. The deposit will be 50% refunded in the exact amount of $15 USD if the commission is rejected by the client after the time of sending confirmation to begin the project. If a commissioned product is more than 30 days past due and/or cancelled by the artist, it will be fully refunded to the client. Please only inquire if serious and be considerate of the artist’s time.

  • SATISFACTION GUARANTEED means that you, the client, do not pay until and unless you are satisfied with the commission agreed upon. You may reject a completed commission, but that means that Jasper Drinnon Art retains the commissioned artwork and it will not be delivered. If you or an involved third party claims any intellectual rights to the artwork (for example, you have rights to the character or personal image), and the commission is rejected, Jasper will keep the piece for one calendar year, making it solely available for purchase by the client, and then it will either be personally collected by Jasper, donated, gifted, or destroyed, within legal rights of the image’s use. If the intellectual rights cannot be claimed by the client, or are awarded to Jasper freely, they may sell the piece and/or reproductions.

  • DELIVERY: the artwork will be delivered digitally, in person, or shipped.

    • If in person: Inappropriate or unsafe meeting places will be rejected. Public places for drop-off only. Jasper will inform the client if in person drop-off is available in their area based on address provided. A fee of $10 USD will be added to in-person drop-offs.

    • If digital: It will be delivered via email at no cost. Note that there will be a watermarked copy presented initially, followed by a high-quality digital image within 0-3 business days of payment.

    • If it is to be shipped: it will be placed with a carrier in 0-3 business days after payment received. Shipping costs will be billed to the client in the final invoice. ALL DELIVERIES WILL HAVE CONFIMATION OF RECEIPT.

  • NO REFUNDS. Once you have paid for and received your artwork, there are absolutely no returns. This applies to any purchased artwork from Jasper Drinnon Art.

  • A response to commission will be sent at the email provided within one week or less (so please make sure it is correct). If you do not receive a response in a timely manner, please reach out via the contact form.

  • YOU need to confirm that the details are okay with you before the artwork will be made. This is the go-ahead for Jasper to begin the project and means you approve of the pricing and details. Please check your inbox, promotions, spam folder, etc for this response. The sooner you respond and/or confirm, the sooner the process moves along.

  • If the form is incomplete in some way, something is confusing or unclear to Jasper, the commission does not seem possible or offends Jasper, or any other issues arise in the process, there may be more initial discussion first before a cost estimate and planning images will be provided. An appointment to consult is free but limited to 30 minutes. Excess of a 30-minute consult will be charged at $30 USD/hour.

  • COMMISSIONING DOES NOT GIVE ANY PARTY OTHER THAN JASPER DRINNON ART THE RIGHT TO SELL REPRODUCTIONS! Right to reproduce a commission for sale, including digital and traditional fine art, deco, home goods, or any product using photography, scanning, or other copying is optional and costs $2,000 USD. Jasper reserves the right to limit reproductions for sale at their discretion. ANYONE found selling copies of ANY of Jasper’s art without permission WILL be persecuted. Please indicate if the artwork involves copyrighted material or intellectual property not owned by Jasper Drinnon Art.

  • PROMISES TO THE CLIENT:

    • Jasper Drinnon Art will never sell or use your information unlawfully. Jasper uses the best technology for payments and data storage to ensure your safety.

    • In terms of content: The level of confidentiality is at the discretion of the client. Please indicate the level of sharing allowed in regard to content in the commission request form below.

    • Jasper will be diligent and put their best effort and adequate time to the artwork so that a satisfactory piece of artwork is yours in a timely manner.

  • A rough timeline after pressing “Send” (this repeats some of the terms above):

    • In 1 week or less: a response will be sent to your email which includes pricing, timing, shipping and other relevant details. Please be aware that shipping options may be limited or have fees and tariffs associated. The client pays for any shipping or transportation costs.

    • As soon as you, the client, confirm the commission, a deposit and initial invoice will be sent. This will include deposit information.

    • After the deposit is received, Jasper will begin creating as you have requested. The time to complete the project will depend on a variety of factors including size and materials.

    • For projects that take less than two weeks, images of the final project will be sent without delay. For projects that take longer than two weeks, updates will be sent regularly and at request.

    • Once the client approves, a final official invoice will be sent to the client. The invoice will specify payment options (we will get it paid, don’t worry!). Payment is due before it is shipped.

    • After the payment is made, the artwork will be sent within 0-3 business days. For digital art without physical copies, this is the last step. Any delivery delays will be communicated. Shipping label info will be provided.

    • Delivery timeframe can be customized based on carrier availability.

    • Please note that Jasper reserves the right to go on vacation occasionally, and may take time off during the process. Time off will be avoided during times of active commissions and the client will be informed of any delays promptly.
